Born in Bradford Manchester, I have lived in Tameside for more than twenty years. I was elected in 2000 and have been proud to serve as a Councillor since.
My previous work includes a career in the Mental Health field, during which time I trained to become a Counsellor of the other kind! I feel that becoming a local councillor has been a natural progression of my work, having supported people for many years and acting as their a vocate in many ways.
I truly believe that Labour is the only hope that Tameside and the country has for building a safe, secure future for everyone.
